Dear SBOS Doctors

I am so happy that I have had the opportunity to serve you as your president for the last 2 years.  It has been a real pleasure being able to represent you and our society at the COA level and to be able to work with many of you personally.  I would never have been able to meet so many of you or to be able to feel so close to our optometry community without this opportunity.  I hope the society has been able to grow and become better during the past two years.  I have seen a lot of changes that I feel blessed to have been a part of.

It has truly been an honor working with the current society board.  They are AMAZING doctors, who dedicate their personal time away from families and their offices to work hard in your behalf.  I have been truly amazed at the amount of work they all put in without any type of recognition or without much thanks. I would like to take a minute now and personally thank each and every one of them for their hard work and dedication to the South Bay Optometric Society and their doctors.  They are awesome individuals and I feel honored to call each of them friends. I wish Dr. Geering-Fend all the best in her next year as president.  She is a great person and will be a great president!
