On January 26th, 2008, SBOS doctors: Debbie Geering-Fend, Debbie Goya, Nancy Imamoto, Gary Asano and Esther Choi participated in a Lion's Club Vision Screening.  This was a great opportunity for our doctors to get out and share their talents and time with the under served population in our community.  The Lion's Club donated $200 to  SBOS to show their appreciation to these hard working doctors.  At our February board meeting, Dr. Debbie Geering presented the society with this check.  In a unanimous decision from the board, this check was then donated to the California Vision Foundation to further serve those people in need of eye care.  Thank you to Dr. Geering for all her hard work in coordinating with the Lion's Club to make that vision screening successful!
