A heartfelt THANK YOU to all of you who graciously supported our holiday toy drive.  The toys were delivered to the Torrance Police Dept. on December 18, 2009.  It was a wonderful feeling to give these toys to such a great cause, I personally felt the true meaning of Christmas that day.  The TFPD was very appreciative of all the community support and had this to say to all of us:

The Torrance Fire Department and the Torrance Police Department would like to thank the residents and the business community of the city of Torrance for their generosity and support of the Fire and Police holiday toy drive. The thousands of donated toys went to help 2,200 children have a happy holiday season.  During these tough economic times, it is an impressive feat to serve this many people.  This would not have been possible without the generosity of the Torrance community.  From the men and women of the Torrance Fire and Police Departments a heartfelt "thank you ".
