Dear SBOS,
I hope everyone is enjoying Spring. We’ve had hot and cold weather, earthquakes, and the HINI Flu outbreak! I am sure that some of our practices are also going through an erratic period. Hopefully, the worst of the recession is in the past and we will sail into Summer and all of us will see better times.
I have been your society president for almost a year. I plan to remain president for another year. The board is looking for more members to join the board. We would like to invite anyone who is interested or curious about what happens at a board meeting to join us at our next board meeting on July 16, 2009. We will meet at the Marie Callender’s in Torrance located on Hawthorne and Torrance Boulevards at 7:30 pm. Of course the dinner is FREE! Please contact me and I will answer any questions you might have.
We have one more Continuing Education Dinner Meeting before we break for the Summer. Think about the topic of Board Certification and we will get your ideas at the meeting. I hope to see all of you at the May 21st meeting, if not, have a fantastic summer.
