Hi Members!

This Christmas SBOS will be donating gifts to an organization called "Cheer for Children".  Cheer For Children's main goal is to provide "cheer" to the children at the county hospital, Harbor UCLA Hospital  in Carson.  They meet those goals with two major parties a year:  Halloween and Christmas.  Because of recent budget cuts, Harbor UCLA hospital is currently in need of board games and toys for use in their playrooms and thus, has provided Cheer For Children with their following wish list: 

.Board Games (Candyland, Monopoly, Battleship, etc.)

.Handheld games (for children who are bed-ridden)

.PLASTIC infant rattles and crib mobiles (no "cloth" items; items need to be plastic for disinfection purposes)

.Infant stimulation toys; CD players

.Best Buy gift certificates for "teen" patients

Our goal this year is to help Cheer For Children meet or exceed the hospital's wish list and to help them continue to provide happiness to the children.  If you prefer, you can also check out the organization's "Cheer Wish List" on their website for gift ideas: www.cheerforchildren.net .  Your donation ($15 value or more) will be collected at our annual Christmas dinner in December.  If you are unable to attend, you can still donate to this cause by simply calling or emailing me.  I will be more than happy to pick up your donation!  Thank you in advance for your generosity and thoughtfulness...
